"For hillwalkers, Crib Goch needs little introduction. As one of the most notorious mountain ridges in Britain, ‘The Red Crest’ is highly prized and is a right of passage for all who seek to enter the world of British mountaineering.

I had long wanted to capture an image at dawn from the ridge and this photograph is the result of repeated attempts to catch it glowing at first light. The narrow spine of rock and its attendant pinnacles are seen here with the mighty Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) rising beyond.
