Those who venture further than the road head will find themselves in Cwm Glas Crafnant, a National Nature Reserve where wild ponies frolic in an idyllic landscape of craggy mountains and gnarled Hawthornes. Sunshine and showers made for excellent photographic conditions and the rainbow was the icing on the cake.
